These are the laws of Exodus that you are expected to follow at all times.
GENERAL
_______
1. As in every pack, the word of those in charge is law. Please respect the word of your leaders. If something is unfair, please just go along with it until I am online and we can discuss it then.
2. Follow all dream rules. I shouldn't have to say this, but it's still important to remember.
3. As is customary, keep OOC away from IC. I can't stress this enough. If someone is mean to you IC, that does not mean there needs to be OOC drama. A lot of times people will have unfriendly or untrustworthy characters, though it doesn't mean they themselves have these traits. Also, if something is said OOC, you cannot make it effect your character IC.
4. If there are any issues within the pack, or if something of importance has happened IC/OOC involving the pack, please inform me.
5. If there is a fight OOC, do not make it worse than it is. If you have to, leave the area or just get offline. I need to be informed at a later time of the fight/issue going on so it can be dealt with.
6. If there is a visitor in the den, be nice. If it's OOC and you don't want them there, kindly ask to leave. If they refuse, try to get them to leave IC. If they continue to stay in the den, and don't respond to and posts or kind remarks, then contact staff.
7. I would like all members to stay active. I really want this pack to be lively and large, so please be online when you can and RP when possible. Remember to check in on the site for activity checks and updates.
Also: If you are inactive for one activity check (which you have 7 days to check in at) without a reason, you will be put on "probation". This means that if you stay inactive for another week, you'll be reduced to a much lower rank. If after yet another week you're still inactive, you'll be removed from the pack.
JOINING
_______
1. Any pups (less than one year old) wanting to join cannot simply post an application. We don't need an abundance of members that can't function. If your character is a pup and wants to join, see if an accepted member wants to adopt you. Only then can you apply to join, with your adoptive parent's name(s) on the application.
2. Remember: Your app is for you and you only. Even if you have a mate and/or pups, they still need to apply as well.
3. I know you're looking for a secret passcode for your application, but it's not going to be that easy to find. :)
ROLEPLAY
________
1. During a RP, keep any OOC comments in brackets ( [], (), {}, <> ) so that nobody gets confused. Also, try to keep the OOC to a minimum so that everyone's post can be read.
2. It is suggested to RP often. Reaching a higher rank requires a certain amount of posts. (Ex.: "Beta": 6,000 posts. This is just an example. xD) This is why we ask that all logs are posted on the site so everybody gets credit for their RP. Nominate someone (if not yourself) in the RP to post the logs on the site, so you know it's taken care of. Not only will keep count of posts, but it will keep others informed of what's going on if they were offline or gone.
3. There is a minimum of 4 lines for RP. If your post is less, it will only count as 1/2 a post. It's really not hard to come up with at least 4 lines of what your character is doing. If someone comes into the den with a one-liner, then it won't be taken as a post either.
4. On fights. Now this pack is a tough pack, so I'm not making a rule that bans in-pack fighting. HOWEVER. For ranks to be exchanged with a fight, I must be informed and an member appointed by me should be present to watch the fight. Any and all other fights between members will only be a spar. If there is excessive fighting going on that involves wounding members badly, I will have to change this rule.
5. A sort of addition to rule 4. If you decide to fight another wolf not in the pack, be sure it isn't on another pack's grounds (i.e. Their den). This can create all sorts of problems between their pack and ours.
RANKING
_______
1. Royal ranks cannot be challenged. The only exception is if I allow the Consort rank to be challenged. This is a rare occasion, and only happens when one trusted love interest would be a good candidate for the rank. The Master and Conquerer ranks cannot be challenged unless the same circumstances are met. These two ranks are only for trusted members, so just winning a fight doesn't earn you the trust and responsibility that comes with the rank.
2. You are expected to do what your rank requires you to do. By accepting the rank, you've accepted all responsibilities that come with it.
3. If someone challenges your rank, you have to accept, unless the rules say otherwise OR if the challenge was brought about by an OOC matter. This shouldn't ever be an issue, though, because I will be informed of all rank challenges within the pack.
BREEDING
________
1. As long as there are less than 6 other pups/unborns, you are allowed to breed. My permission isn't needed as long as you make sure that there aren't too many other pups in the pack/about to be in the pack.
2. Who you mate with is only of slight importance. Keeping it within the pack would be better, but if a loner is the father it is fine as well. This rule has it's limits. If you wish to breed with the member of another pack, they have to be allied with us. If they aren't allied to us, you must get permission from their pack leader AND me. If the pack is enemies with us, breeding within it is forbidden.
3. The number of pups for each litter should not exceed 5. SO, when you roll for the number of pups, it will be 1d5. After you get the number, roll for each one 1d2, a result of 1 decides the pup is male and 2 decides the pup is female. Your character should be pregnant for about two weeks real life time before the pups will be "born".
4. You aren't required to actually RP out the breeding process. Many people find it awkward. If you DO decide to, you don't have to post the logs. In fact, just don't. (To prove you read the rules, underline your answer to "Did you read the rules?") We could have members that aren't mature enough to read things like that or members that are bothered by such things.
5. Whoever plays your pups needs to put in an application so we don't have "noob" members in the pack. Sorry guys, but there is a certain requirement to be in this pack.
